  • review rating 5  We've been coming back here for breakfast time and time again.. It's a favorite stop for us whenever we're in New Orleans. Any breakfast item is great. On this last visit we had the Crab Cakes Benedict and Fried Chicken Benedict. Both were fantastic!!!

review rating 5  The breakfasts served here were fabulous. We ate here every morning while in New Orleans. Very convenient from our hotel. My favorite was the Eggs Jonathan. JoJo, one of the servers was very kind and delightful. Would recommend it! Mid-priced. $$.

review rating 5  We always have breakfast at The Old Coffee Pot Restaurant. It is tucked away in the quarter and full of New Orleans charm. It was recently "cleaned up" by one of those reality television shows and Chef Gordon Ramsey. Making our annual trek to town for Christmas, and lo and behold, we again find ourselves at their table - this year, brand new tables and chairs. Best grits I've had in quite a while...and good link sausages too. Many of the long-time staffers are still working there - they definitely make the place a signature New Orleans eating spot!

review rating 5  During my anniversary trip my husband and I have the opportunity to experience breakfast and lunch here, it was amazing. The staff were friendly and actually remembered us when we return the next day. We will definitely make a return visit the next time we are in New Orleans.

review rating 5  Great food. Friendly staff. The French toast is beyond amazing. The courtyard is nice and peaceful. If sitting inside, sit away from windows or may be watching some of the drunk patrons from Pat O'Brians dancing close by them while trying to enjoy meal.

review rating 5  Jojo was the best server. Our food was amazing. The Lost Bread had me transported to an ethereal plane. Must try, it was an amazing visit and experience!

review rating 4  The food was good and the service was prompt and friendly. The place was clean, which is great, but it looked far more contemporary than I had expected for an old building in New Orleans. It didn't look much different from any new, hipster kind of place you'd find in any suburb.

  • review rating 5  Excellent! Our waitress, was wonderful. Her brother was the chef. They are both so personable and wonderful to visit with. We went twice, in two days, its was so good. This is excellent seafood gumbo! You can walk right past it and miss out! Must go here!

review rating 5  We went for lunch one day and even though it’s in the touristy area of the French Quarters, the food tasted like real southern home cooking! The crab balls and fried chicken with gravy and a biscuit were super delicious! Their drink selection is also ready good. It’s small and was busy when we went for lunch so go early. It’s next to Preservation Hall so go early then hop in line for a show!

    thumb Jaclyn Whalen

review rating 5  The food was delicious- had the sis soul omelet with grits and the bananas foster French toast. The staff were all amazing and kind. Outside seating was cool and breezy when we went (11am in late August no less). Lastly, prices were good! Definitely recommended!
